The collection of the Weltkulturen Museum also contains over fifty objects made of metal, wood and ivory from the Kingdom of Benin (Nigeria). When and under what circumstances did they enter the collection of what was then known as the Völkermuseum? A research project into provenance funded by the German Lost Art Foundation has been conducted at the Frankfurt museum in order to address these questions, exploring the complex ownership status behind these objects. "In the jungle of thoughts"
Could the last tree fall one day? Can the sea vomit? How can we deal with global crises? In this workshop we will address a range of questions and ideas that have emerged during the “healing. Life in Balance” exhibition and explore them from an artistic and creative perspective. All the results of the workshop will grow into a gigantic “jungle of thoughts” in the education department as the exhibition progresses.
For families with children 6 years and over.
6 Euro per child.

"There are 500 times more plastic particles in the ocean than stars in our galaxy".
Plastic, more a curse than a blessing of modernity, is everywhere: in the rivers and oceans, in the air and in our bodies. PLASTIC FANTASTIC deals with the people who bring more and more plastic into the world and those who try to get rid of it.A cooperation of the Weltkulturen Museum with naxosKino in the context of the exhibition "healing.
