Who the musician will be and what they will be playing is a surprise. All the information you have is where and at what time on which day you will meet, 2 metres apart.
The concerts at the Weltkulturen Museum will take place in the exhibition „WORLDS IN MOTION. Narrating Migration“. You can visit the exhibition after the concert.
These special events were inspired by Stephanie Winker, Franziska Ritter, Christian Siegmund & Sophie von Mansberg's 1:1 concert format which they developed for the »Sommerkonzerte Volkenroda« chamber music festival.

The curators Jelka Kretzschmar and Leonie Neumann guide through the exhibition and give insights into its developement.

With Manos Radisoglou, air traffic controller and professional pilot
Manos Radisoglou (born in 1988) is half-Greek, which explains his life-long relationship with the Mediterranean. Since 2017 he has been active as a pilot flying operations on the Moonbird in the Central Mediterranean. Operation Moonbird is a joint initiative between Humanitarian Pilots Initiative and Sea-Watch. The aerial mission helps to search for boats in distress at sea and documents human rights violations.
A resident of Sachsenhausen in Frankfurt, Manos has been working full-time as an air traffic controller in Langen near Frankfurt Airport since 2010, and is also a part-time professional pilot.
The exhibition “SW5Y - Five years of civil sea rescue” is a cooperation between Sea-Watch e.V. and the Weltkulturen Museum.

The exhibition “WORLDS IN MOTION. Narrating Migration” presents many different fabrics from Indonesia, Cameroon, Ghana, Great Britain, China and the Netherlands. What is the history that links all these colourful textiles with their distinctive patterns?
Once the participants have discovered the answer to this question, they can experiment with wax and dye to produce their own fantastic patterns.
