SW5Y - Five years of civil sea rescue
FINISSAGE ON 30TH AUGUST
More information here.
This cooperation between Sea-Watch e.V. and the Weltkulturen Museum presents photographs and drawings depicting impressions, people and moments from the last five years of civilian sea rescue on the most dangerous border in the world – the Mediterranean Sea.
In addition to an exploration of civilian sea rescue and current perspectives on displacement and migration, this overview honours the dedication of hundreds of volunteers in the civilian sea rescue network, who are fighting for universal human rights, safe escape routes and against leaving people to die.
