Thomas Bayrle, Germany
After training as a weaver, Thomas Bayrle (born 1937) studied applied graphics at the Werkkunstschule Offenbach. From 1961-65 he was, together with Bernhard Jäger, publisher at Gulliver-Presse in Bad Homburg. Bayrle participated in documenta 3 (1964) and 6 (1977) in Kassel. From 1972-2002 he was a professor at the Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste Städelschule in Frankfurt a. M.
